Zaid was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar recipient. In 2021, he earned All-Big Ten Third Team honors and was recognized with the John Kobs Most Valuable Player Award and the Kirk Gibson Offensive Player of the Year Award at MSU. He later transferred to Georgetown University, where he completed his collegiate career.
Zaid continued his professional journey this past summer with the Idaho Falls Chukars in the Pioneer Baseball League. He is eager to pass on the knowledge and experiences he gained throughout his college and professional career to the next generation of ballplayers. Having navigated the ups and downs of his own baseball journey, Zaid is passionate about helping others reach their full potential and develop both on and off the field.
His love for the game and commitment to mentoring young athletes drives him to share his insights, aiming to inspire and guide the next wave of talent.
