Mike Settle
Strength and Conditioning Director
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Northern Illinois University and went on to complete his master’s degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago. During his time at NIU, Mike gained valuable experience interning with Coastal Carolina University’s Speed, Strength, and Conditioning Department under the guidance of Antwan Floyd. He further honed his skills with internships at Northwestern University, where he worked alongside the football and sports performance staff, as well as at the University of South Carolina, focusing on strength and conditioning for football and track athletes.
Mike’s coaching career continued at Kent State University, where he served as an Assistant Strength Coach, working closely with collegiate athletes to enhance their performance. Although he found the collegiate environment rewarding, Mike transitioned to the private sector, where he leveraged his expertise in strength and conditioning across various sports performance facilities and physical therapy clinics.
His work in these settings has allowed him to develop tailored strength and conditioning programs for athletes of all levels and sports, focusing on maximizing their physical potential and overall athletic performance. Coach Settle is dedicated to make our boys bigger, faster & stronger!
