After high school, Josh began his collegiate career at the University of Maryland before transferring to the University of Cincinnati, where he transitioned to a pitching role. As a standout closer for the Bearcats, he ranked in the top five in school history for both single-season and all-time saves, establishing himself as a formidable presence on the mound.
In 2005, Josh was selected in the MLB Amateur Draft by the Oakland Athletics, where he continued his pitching career until an injury brought it to an early end. He then shifted his focus to coaching, becoming the recruiting coordinator and pitching coach at the University of Wisconsin Parkside (Division II) under Head Coach Tracy Archuleta. Beyond the collegiate level, Josh has dedicated the past seven years to coaching youth amateur baseball, helping to shape the next generation of players.
Today, Josh serves as the Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach at St. Viator High School, bringing his extensive experience and passion for the game back to his alma mater. Alongside his coaching career, Josh has spent the last 16 years working in the Aerospace and Defense sector. He is currently the Managing Director of Kay and Associates, Inc., a privately held Aerospace and Defense company, where he continues to lead with the same dedication and drive that defined his baseball career.
