Canes Great Lakes Mishawaka Fieldhouse HitTrax League

Starting Saturday, Jan 11th. It is a 5 week long (4 Regular season and 1 week playoffs single elimination) league taking place on Saturdays ranging from 11:00am-5:00p based on the number of teams. The virtual hitting league using HitTrax technologies which simulates a game in any MLB stadium that is scaled based on the age level of players. 

Teams of 3-4 players will play double header games that are 6 innings or 30 minutes long, whichever comes first. There will be a single elimination playoff on Feb 8th, with prizes for the champions of each age bracket. Simply register as an individual by going to www.canesgreatlakes.com and email canesgreatlakes@gmail.com the list of your other teammates on your team or be assigned to a team prior to the first games. This will be a fun fast paced league to compete with the latest technologies in the game today showing exit velo, launch angle, distance, and much more. Come play with us to compete, have fun, and to get more reps in before the Spring Season!

Age Group Breakdowns – Difficulty will be adjusted to each age batting so its an even game based on age groups

League Play

• Games are 30 minutes or a max of 6 innings
• No new innings can start after 25 minutes
• Games can end in a tie
• There is a Run Rule of 15 runs after 3 innings, 12 after 4 and 10 after 5
• Teams must have at least 2 players present at the start of the game or it results in a 8-0 forfeit.
• The number of players in the lineup must be set at the start of the game and cannot be changed. If a team chooses to start the game with players from their roster that are not present, those players will record an automatic out until they arrive.
• Each team will play a double header every week.
• The 5th week of the season will be a Single Elimination Playoff.
• Teams will be seeded prior to the playoff week.

In Game Rules

• Helmets must always be worn
• There will be one staff member acting as an umpire throughout the game if needed
• All calls by the umpire are final
• All results by the HitTrax are final
• There is NO bunting
• The hitting team is responsible for picking up balls in a timely manner if needed
• Any ball that is put in play that is not tracked by HitTrax will be replayed with the same count.
• Foul balls or obvious strikes that are not recorded by HitTrax will be marked as strikes.
• There is ZERO tolerance for questioning calls, foul language, taunting or throwing of bats or helmets. This type of behavior will result in the ejection of the player from the game.

Players that do not have a team will be randomly assigned to a team.
