We are pleased to announce a merger between the Indiana Expos, Indiana Angels and the Canes Midwest. This merger will take effect at the conclusion of the 2022-2023 season. The Indiana Expos and Indiana Angels staff will be taking over and managing the Canes Midwest as an organization. This means that there is no administrative or staff changes. The Expos and Angels staff will maintain control and autonomy over the Canes Midwest teams, which will still include multiple teams at each age, now all under one name. The current Canes Midwest organization and staff will be moving to a “National” brand and will manage that brand separately, but in conjunction with our teams and staff. Samp’s Hack Shack’s newly acquired outdoor facilities and future, state of the art indoor facilities will serve as the home base for all Canes Midwest National and Canes Midwest teams. We are committed to having the best indoor and outdoor facilities for our players, including the soon to be added hitting tunnels at the new outdoor facility.
Although we have been approached on multiple occasions by multiple organizations in the past, none offered enough of a benefit to our teams and families. This exciting merger, however, will partner us with the very best and most respected travel baseball organizations in the country and be a huge win for our players and families including: increased recruiting exposure for our players, lower tournament costs, access to more events, partnership with Diamond Allegiance (which offers savings to families on food, hotels, travel, entertainment, etc.) and much more. We are excited and grateful for this merger which is a huge win for our players and families!
We are thrilled to share the news of our partnership with the Diamond Allegiance
