I grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Indianapolis for law school in 2005. I’ve been here ever since. I have a wife and 3 boys (9th grade, 5th grade, 2nd grade). I was a pitcher and first baseman in high school. Senior year I broke my fibula while playing 1B and never ended up playing again. I’ve coached little league and travel ball for 5 years now. My favorite baseball player is Ken Griffey Jr., because of that swing.
Kyle Torgerson is going in to his 2nd season an assistant coach with the 11U Canes Indiana baseball team. He played baseball from tball through high school. He was able to play 1 year of club baseball in college. He coached little league and Babe Ruth for 6 years in HS and college. He has been coaching both of his son’s various sports since they were old enough to participate. His favorite baseball player is Joe Mauer. Kyle and his wife Stacy have two sons, Liam (13) Callan (10) and reside in Greenwood, IN.
Married with two kids. Playing career: multi-sport athlete in High School (soccer, basketball, & baseball). Soccer: 4 year starter and Conference player of the year in 2001, held multiple school scoring records. Baseball: 4 year starter reaching the final 4 in 2001. Favorite player: Ken Griffey Jr. because he has the best swing in baseball.
